Arid agriculture expert scientist from Sweden, Dr. Mo Segad, held a meeting with senior officials of Green Pakistan Initiative. During the meeting, he was briefed about various sectors of the Green Pakistan Initiative established under SIFC, including agriculture, livestock and tourism. The Swedish expert expressed his willingness to work for the promotion of agriculture through research and development in association with the Green Pakistan Initiative. Green Pakistan Initiative is playing a key role in bringing the barren land of Cholistan desert under cultivation with the target cultivating more than four million hectares in the next few years.
