Caretaker Minister for Information, Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Solangi has said that the situation in the country is normal and there is no disruption of any kind. In an interview with a private channel, he said political parties received a divided mandate and no party is in a position to form the government on its own. He said political parties are consulting for government formation and the National Assembly's session can be convened by 29th of this month. In response to a question, the Minister said that many people do not know about the role of the commissioner and most of the people sitting abroad are not aware of the responsibilities of the commissioner. He said some elements want to create a situation of uncertainty in the country. The Minister said there are legal forums including the Election Commission for complaints regarding elections. He said many results have been suspended by the Commission. In response to a question, Murtaza Solangi said that he gave interviews to seve ral local and international channels. It is not unusual for him to give interviews to the media. He said the journalist's claim regarding being called for an interview is false and baseless. Source: Radio Pakistan
