The operation to transport pilgrims from Makkah to tent valley of Mina has been completed successfully.
Radio Pakistan's correspondent Javed Iqbal reports from Mina that around three million Muslims from around the globe will be heading towards Arafat on Tuesday for Hajj Pilgrimage.
At Mina, Saudi government has made comprehensive arrangements to protect the pilgrims from desert heat and blazing sun.
Facilities like cool air, food, medicine and clean drinking water are available in every tent.
Besides, Pakistan mission is proactively involved in ensuring the health and safety of Pakistani pilgrims. To ensure the presence of all Pakistani pilgrims at Arafat, the mission has arranged designated ambulance service for the sick and elderly people who cannot walk. Under this service, nearly 100 people will be transported to Arafat via ambulances with special health facilities.
In an interview, the Director Moavineen Sajjad Haider Yildrim hailed Saudi government for allowing Pakistani Moavineen to review the facilities in all Pakistani camps at Mina. He reiterated the commitment to take every possible measure for provision of facilities to Pakistani pilgrims during hajj pilgrimage.
During their different interactions with our correspondent, the Pilgrims from Pakistan also admired Pakistan hajj mission for resolving their complaints immediately.
After spending this night at Mina, pilgrims will leave the tented city early tomorrow morning for an emotional day on and around Jabal Rahma, at Arafat's great plain.
Then after spending the whole day at Arafat, pilgrims will spend a night at Muzdalifa under open sky.
From Muzdalifa they will collect pebbles to be used in the symbolic stoning of pillars representing the devil in Mina.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Religious Affairs has already established its Main Control Office in Mina.
This office has been established with the primary aim of providing comprehensive assistance and facilitation to the pilgrims.
To ensure the smooth flow of information and communication, an Information Cell has been set up within the MCO.
Additionally, a dedicated Lost and Found Cell has been established to help pilgrims retrieve any misplaced belongings.
Monitoring Cell has been put in place to closely monitor and address any potential issues of the private Pilgrims. Furthermore, various other specialized units, such as a Wheelchair Desk, have been established to cater to the specific needs of different groups of pilgrims.
The establishment of these facilities reflects the Ministry's commitment to enhancing the pilgrimage experience and providing a comfortable and hassle-free environment for all Pakistani pilgrims.
