Pakistan and Kuwait have agreed to formalize Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) for collaboration in Agriculture, Maritime and Ports, Education, Avoidance of Double Taxation and Quality and Safety Standards. The understanding to this effect came during the 5th Session of Pakistan-Kuwait Joint Ministerial Commission in Kuwait. The 5th JMC marked a significant stride in strengthening the ties between the two nations. It was co-chaired by Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan and Minister for Commerce and Industry of the State of Kuwait Omar Saud Al-Omar. The key outcomes of the session included the agreement to sign a loan agreement worth 25 million dollars on 3rd of next month for the Mohmand Dam. Additionally, the Kuwait Fund expressed its willingness to consider the financing request from Pakistan for the Kachhi Canal project.
