Gwadar is poised to become an international trade hub as CPEC enters its second phase. The mega CPEC related projects in Gwadar, among others, include construction of New Gwadar International Airport at a cost of 230 million dollars, East Bay expressway costing 179 million dollars, Gwadar Port with an investment of 300 million dollars and China Pakistan Friendship hospital at a cost 100 million dollars.
