Seventeen people have been killed and fifty others injured after a truck carrying pilgrims plunged into a ravine in the Hub district of Balochistan. The truck was en route to the Shah Noorani shrine in Khuzdar from Thatta. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep grief over the loss of precious human lives in the tragic accident at Shah Noorani. Commiserating with the bereaved families, the President prayed for the departed souls. The Prime Minister, while condoling with the families, prayed for the departed souls and the early recovery of those injured in the accident. He directed to provide all possible medical treatment to the injured. Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah attended the funeral prayers of seventeen people at village Qasim Jokhio in Thatta this afternoon. He met with the heirs and children of the deceased and expressed his sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
